Let's start from here, yes, because the food it is always the most important thing when you are planning to go abroad and especially so far in the world.
What you are seeing in this photo, it is called "kimpab" ( © in korean), and it is just as sandwich is for western people...
Kimpab is made by rise for the majority and kim, which is lavander, then inside you can find : fried eggs, tunna, crab, ham and several vegetables.
You can choose among :
Simple kimpab price is 1000 won
Toona kimpab price is 2000 won
Modern kimpab price is 2500 won

My favourite is Tonna kimpab, (in korea you have to say : 잠지 김밥) , especially when they add mayonese ^^

So imagine this scenario:

You go to mountain, you go to the beach, you go to a simple picnic, what korean people carry as food ?
KIMPAB !

There are thousand of store collocated everywhere in Seoul, called KIMPAB HEAVEN ^^
My first kimpab was in Sookmyung area... very nice, try if you live nearby !
